Role Description
This is a contract position for a Procurement Officer, based on-site in Dubai.
The Procurement Officer will oversee the sourcing and purchasing process, including managing supplier relationships.
Responsibilities
include preparing purchase orders, negotiating contracts with vendors, analyzing procurement data, and ensuring cost-efficient purchasing aligned with company policies.
The candidate will work collaboratively with internal teams to identify business needs and uphold high standards of procurement practices.
Qualifications
- Experience with Procurement and Purchasing processes, including sourcing and supplier management
- Proficiency in creating and managing Purchase Orders
- Strong Contract Negotiation skills that result in cost-effective agreements
- Demonstrated Analytical Skills to assess costs, suppliers, and procurement strategies
- Familiarity with procurement software and tools is a plus
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Proven ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
