About This Role

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Procurement Officer to manage purchasing activities and ensure the timely acquisition of goods and services. This role is responsible for sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and maintaining cost-effective procurement processes while ensuring quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source and evaluate suppliers, vendors, and service providers
  • Negotiate prices, contracts, and terms to achieve cost savings
  • Prepare and process purchase orders and procurement documentation
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with internal teams for purchasing needs
  • Ensure timely delivery of goods and services
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors
  • Track and analyze procurement performance and cost efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement procedures
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier information
  • Resolve issues related to delays, quality, or supplier performance

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
  • 2–5+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain roles
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
  • Excellent organizational and analytical abilities
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
  • Familiarity with procurement or ERP systems

Pay: QAR21,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
