Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end procurement activities for projects and operational requirements.
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers, and subcontractors to achieve cost-effective purchasing solutions.
- Procure equipment, transportation services, and project materials in line with technical and commercial requirements.
- Prepare and process RFQs, purchase orders, contracts, and procurement reports.
- Coordinate with engineering, project, logistics, and finance teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with local and international suppliers and OEMs.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, project specifications, and Abu Dhabi market regulations.
- Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules, and quality standards.
- Support cost-saving initiatives and vendor management strategies.
- Track procurement schedules to ensure alignment with project timelines and client requirements.
- Conduct market analysis to identify new suppliers, pricing trends, and procurement opportunities.
- Coordinate import/export documentation and customs clearance processes when required.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases, and contract documentation.
- Assist in contract administration, including reviewing supplier agreements, variations, and claims.
- Ensure all procurement activities are aligned with project budgets and approved procurement plans.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
- 5–10 years of procurement experience within contracting companies, preferably in Energy and/or Transmission & Distribution sectors.
- Strong Abu Dhabi/UAE market experience and supplier network.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple procurement activities simultaneously.
- Fluent in English and Arabic (spoken and written).
