The Procurement Officer sources, negotiates, and purchases goods and services for the company.
The role supports timely procurement of quality products at competitive prices and compliance with company policies.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate suppliers based on quality, price, and delivery performance.
- Obtain quotations and negotiate vendor pricing, terms, and contracts.
- Prepare and process purchase orders in a timely manner.
- Monitor inventory and coordinate purchasing requirements with departments.
- Follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery.
- Maintain procurement records, contracts, and supplier databases.
- Resolve supplier delivery and quality issues.
- Research suppliers and cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
- Coordinate invoice verification and payment processing with Finance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 3–5 years of procurement or purchasing experience.
- Strong negotiation and supplier-management skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP or procurement systems.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred qualifications
- F&B, hospitality, or catering industry experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of local and international procurement procedures is preferred.
- A valid driving license is an advantage.
