Procurement Manager role for a client described as a major petrochemical manufacturer.
The description says the position will be based in Jubail, Saudi Arabia.
Global agreements and procurement
- Manage global agreements for mega- and giga-projects, including contracting strategies, market capability and capacity assessment, and prequalification documents.
- Draft pro forma contracts and oversee tendering, bid evaluation, commercial negotiations, agreement of terms and conditions, and contract awards.
- Administer contracts throughout the project lifecycle.
Amendments and master agreements
- Prepare and negotiate contract amendments and change orders for mega-projects and resolve related disputes or claims.
- Provide contract consultations and contribute to developing templates and procedures.
- Establish Master Blanket Agreements for mega-projects and negotiate their terms and conditions, ensuring legal and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor's degree is required.
- At least 10 years of relevant experience is required.
- Extensive procurement experience, preferably in large-scale projects; experience managing complex projects and understanding contracting and negotiation processes.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills, plus excellent communication and leadership abilities to manage cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
