Procurement Manager

Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies supporting company goals.
• Lead and mentor procurement teams across business units.
• Negotiate supplier contracts to achieve favorable terms and savings.
• Monitor markets and supplier performance for risks and improvement opportunities.
• Forecast needs with stakeholders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and ethical standards.
• Improve procurement processes, efficiency, and value creation.
• Build supplier partnerships that support quality and reliable supply.

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of procurement experience, including 3 years in a managerial team-leading role.
• Construction or real estate development procurement experience, including construction materials and subcontractor sourcing.
• Hands-on strategic sourcing, negotiation, contract management, and procurement process improvement experience.
• Experience with Odoo ERP or similar procurement systems; knowledge of relevant procurement legal and regulatory frameworks.
• Business fluency in Arabic and English.
• Ability to partner across finance, legal, operations, and project/construction teams and present strategies to senior leaders.

Preferred qualifications

• MBA or equivalent advanced degree.
• Experience managing procurement logistics contracts, supplier performance, supplier relationships, and external supplier or subcontractor relationships.
• Experience presenting procurement savings and risk updates to board-level stakeholders.
