About Our Client
The client is a leading oil field services and equipment organisation supporting upstream oil and gas operations across Africa.
They are establishing a centralised procurement hub in Dubai to drive sourcing activities, strengthen supplier partnerships, and support regional operations alongside a global vendor base.
Job Description
- Lead end-to-end procurement across either "Subsurface" or "Surface / Infrastructure" categories
- Manage sourcing processes including RFQs, RFPs, contract negotiation, and execution
- Build and manage supplier relationships across Africa, UAE, Europe, Asia, and the US
- Support development of procurement policies, category strategies, and vendor frameworks
- Oversee purchase order lifecycle and coordinate logistics for cross-border delivery
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and finance teams to align procurement with business needs
The Successful Applicant
- 8 to 17 years of procurement experience within upstream oil and gas or oilfield services
- Deep expertise in either "Subsurface" or "Surface / Infrastructure" category procurement
- Experience working with OFSE suppliers for "Subsurface" or EPC contractors for "Surface / Infrastructure"
- Strong track record in contract negotiation and supplier management
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, build-phase environment
