Currie & Brown is looking for a Procurement Manager to join our team in Abu Dhabi, working with a key client on various infrastructure projects.
You will support project leaders in generating a high standard of service delivery, achieving successful outcomes for our clients, capturing and sharing knowledge across projects, enhancing our culture of innovation and reinforcing our reputation as a preferred service provider.
Responsibilities will include
- Managing end to end process flow of procurement activities on various infrastructure, landscaping and mixed use projects
- Carrying out tender evaluations
- Developing procurement strategies that are inventive and cost-effective
- Sourcing and engaging reliable suppliers and vendors.
- Negotiating with suppliers and vendors to secure advantageous terms
- Reviewing existing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure on-going feasibility.
- Building and maintaining long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Skills, experience & qualifications:
- Degree in Civil, MEP Engineering or Quantity Surveying
- Previous experience in a Procurement Manager role in the Middle East
- Previous experience working on large scale, infrastructure projects
- Must be client facing and able to deal with multiple stakeholders
