About This Role
Description
- Identify suppliers and obtain competitive quotations.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery timelines.
- Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs) and monitor order progress.
- Coordinate with factory and project teams to understand material requirements.
- Maintain and update the supplier database and assess vendor performance.
- Ensure proper procurement documentation and liaise with Finance for payment processing.
- Work with the storekeeper to monitor inventory levels and prevent shortages or excess stock.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in manufacturing or construction.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and MS Excel skills.
- Familiarity with the UAE supplier market is an advantage.
