Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Procurement Executive to join our construction team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing materials, negotiating with suppliers, managing purchase orders, and ensuring timely delivery of construction materials and services while maintaining cost efficiency and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Obtain quotations and negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Prepare purchase orders and follow up on deliveries.
- Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and warehouse teams for material requirements.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and project budgets.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and supplier databases.
- Monitor market trends and material costs.
- Resolve supply chain or delivery issues promptly.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and contractors.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a procurement or supply chain role At least 2 year in construction field
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office knowledge of procurement software
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.
Preferred Skills
- Cost control and budgeting knowledge.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Experience with local and international suppliers is an advantage.
Experience
Procurement in construction: 2 years (Preferred)
