Role Overview
We are seeking a specialized Procurement and GS Coordinator to support and drive key supply chain and administration operations.
This role requires a Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or Engineering background combined with a deep understanding of the power, energy, and water sectors, to manage complex organizational procurement needs and ensure robust facilities maintenance, safety, and smooth operational flow.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, compile, and execute the annual organizational procurement plan by initiating optimal sourcing methods, tendering processes, and direct purchases.
- Issue and monitor purchase orders to verify compliance with technical specifications regarding quality, quantity, and pricing.
- Coordinate the selection, engagement, and contract compliance of external vendors and suppliers to efficiently fulfill organizational purchasing needs. Evaluate and improve procurement tools and processes based on departmental and supplier feedback to increase operational accuracy.
- Oversee the maintenance, safety, and logistics of facilities, office supplies, and general support services like cleaning and security.
- Follow all departmental policies and standard operating procedures while contributing to continuous improvement, cost reduction, and the preparation of timely financial and operational reports.
& Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or Engineering from a reputable university is mandatory.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in similar roles in large companies, including at least 3 years in positions of increasing managerial responsibilities, is required.
- Experience in the power, energy, or water sectors is mandatory.
- Demonstrated problem-solving ability, analytical thinking, and hands-on operational experience within the GCC culture and working environment.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with key stakeholders, senior executives, and external partners.
- Professional English proficiency is mandatory; Arabic language skills are a strong plus.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills are required.
