Full-time, remote Director role at EFTCO, responsible for strategic leadership and operational oversight for the federation.
The federation's initiatives concern safety, environmental performance, education, and technical standards in tank cleaning.
Responsibilities
- Guide development and implementation of initiatives on safety, environmental performance, education, and technical standards.
- Engage member organizations and liaise with industry partners and regulatory bodies.
- Represent EFTCO in European and international forums.
- Manage projects and coordinate working groups or committees.
- Oversee communications and stakeholder engagement, governance, and board reporting.
- Manage budgets and monitor relevant regulatory developments.
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation across member depots.
Qualifications
- Leadership and strategic management experience, including multi-country or multi-stakeholder initiatives.
- Background in logistics, supply chain, industrial services, or a related sector.
- Tank cleaning, safety, or environmental standards familiarity is an asset.
- Communication, negotiation, relationship-building, and project management capabilities.
- Knowledge of European health, safety, environment, and transport regulations, or willingness to develop expertise.
- Ability to work independently remotely, exercise sound judgment, and make data-informed decisions.
- Fluent written and spoken English; additional European languages are beneficial.
- Relevant university degree or equivalent professional experience.
