Job Purpose
Lead and manage procurement and contracting activities for various non-operational services and goods across Bahri by implementing policies, procedures, compliance, and industry best practices.
Process
- Identify competitive sources of quality goods and services and prepare RFP, RFQ, IFB, and RFI documents for each requirement.
- Draft, evaluate, negotiate, and execute contract agreements, consulting contracts, services contracts, blanket purchase agreements, and licensing contracts.
- Analyze price proposals, financial reports, and other data to determine price reasonableness and review contract provisions for cost efficiencies.
- Implement strategies for cost reduction, supplier consolidation, quality improvements, and process efficiencies per procurement guidelines.
Procurement Metrics
- Maintain the database using various procurement metrics.
- Ensure continuous updates of Contract Administration procedures according to current and future demands of Bahri.
Compliance
- Ensure purchase order compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and communication protocols and resolve discrepancies.
Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain strong relations with vendors and service providers to ensure seamless business support.
Contract Deliverables
- Develop best practices and further develop the contract administration area for Bahri.
- Monitor and ensure procured services and goods comply with contracting deliverables.
- Review contract claims for conformance to Bahri policy, request amendment approvals, and discuss defects and delivery problems with suppliers.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain or equivalent.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
