Role Description

The Process Engineering Manager is a part-time, on-site role based in Abu Dhabi.

This role focuses on analyzing, designing, and improving operational processes within the Student Partnership Program - برنامج الشراكة الطلابية to enhance efficiency, quality, and participant experience.

Day-to-day responsibilities include mapping current processes, identifying bottlenecks, designing optimized workflows, and defining clear performance metrics.

The manager will collaborate with cross-functional academic and administrative teams, facilitate process workshops, document standards and procedures, and ensure consistent implementation of best practices.

Additional tasks include monitoring process performance data, recommending continuous improvements, mentoring student contributors involved in process-related projects, and preparing concise reports for program leadership.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in process-focused disciplines, including Process Engineering and Process Design, with the ability to translate program needs into efficient workflows.
  • Experience in Business Process Improvement and Process Optimization, including identifying inefficiencies, proposing solutions, and implementing sustainable changes.
  • Knowledge of Process Control principles, with the ability to define metrics, monitor performance, and maintain process stability and quality.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field; advanced studies or certifications in process improvement (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) are advantageous.
  • Proficiency in process mapping and documentation tools, and comfort working with data to support decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders, manage multiple priorities in a part-time capacity, and communicate complex concepts clearly.
  • Experience in academic, educational, or student-focused environments is a plus, along with a commitment to inclusive, learner-centered practices.
