Support and improve seat assembly processes for an automotive manufacturing organization in Saudi Arabia.
The role operates in a demanding Just-In-Time manufacturing environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical qualification in Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
- At least 3 years of process or manufacturing engineering experience in automotive seating production.
- Direct automotive seating assembly experience and JIS delivery operations experience.
- Familiarity with controlled fastening systems, conveyors, automated inspection, and end-of-line testers.
- Knowledge of CAD layout tools and manufacturing traceability systems.
- Practical assembly support experience in a JIT or similarly demanding automotive environment.
- Strong knowledge of line balancing, standardized work, Lean manufacturing, and structured root-cause analysis.
- Familiarity with APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, and automotive quality requirements.
- Ability to analyze production data, implement improvements, and troubleshoot shop-floor issues, bottlenecks, defects, and stoppages.
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
