About This Role

Overview

Acts as the liaison between the company and government authorities, managing documentation, approvals, and legal compliance.

Key Responsibilities1. Government Liaison

  • Coordinate with ministries such as:
  • **Ministry of Interior Qatar (MOI)**
  • **Ministry of Labour Qatar**
  • **Ministry of Commerce and Industry Qatar**
  • Process official applications, submissions, and follow-ups.

2. Visa & Immigration Processing

  • Handle employment visas, renewals, and cancellations
  • Process residence permits (RP), Qatar ID (QID), and medicals
  • Manage entry permits and exit permits (if required)

3. Labor & Employment Documentation

  • Process labor contracts and approvals
  • Coordinate with labor system updates and amendments
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations

4. Company Licensing & Documentation

  • Renew trade licenses, commercial registrations (CR), and computer cards
  • Maintain company legal documents and records
  • Ensure all company certificates are valid and updated

5. Government Systems & Online Portals

  • Use platforms such as:
  • **Metrash2**
  • Hukoomi / MOI portals
  • Track applications and approvals digitally

6. Document Clearing & Attestation

  • Submit and collect documents from ministries
  • Handle attestation of certificates (education, legal docs, etc.)

7. Coordination & Internal Support

  • Assist HR and admin teams with employee documentation
  • Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Provide updates on government regulations and changes

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of Qatar government procedures
  • Good Arabic and English communication skills
  • Attention to detail with documentation
  • Time management and ability to handle multiple applications
  • Familiarity with online government systems

Typical Requirements

  • Experience as PRO/Mandoop in Qatar
  • Valid Qatari driving license (often required)
  • Knowledge of labor law and immigration rules
  • Good connections/experience dealing with ministries (advantage)

Work Environment

  • Frequent travel to government offices
  • Office-based administrative work
  • Time-sensitive processing and deadlines
