Private Family Cook / Chef

About This Role

We are seeking a professional and experienced Private Chef to join a VIP family household in Doha. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality daily meals, maintaining exceptional kitchen hygiene standards, and delivering a personalized dining experience tailored to the family’s preferences and dietary requirements.

This is a full-time live-in position within a private residence. The role requires flexibility, professionalism, confidentiality, and a strong understanding of international and healthy cuisine preparation.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare daily meals for the family, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, and special occasions
• Create diverse and nutritious meal plans based on the family’s preferences and dietary needs
• Prepare a variety of cuisines including Arabic, Continental, Asian, healthy, and international dishes
• Ensure food quality, presentation, and taste meet high household standards
• Purchase fresh ingredients and manage kitchen inventory when required
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen at all times
• Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards
• Accommodate special dietary requirements, allergies, and children’s meals if needed
• Coordinate meal preparation for guests and private events within the residence
• Properly store food items and minimize waste
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism within the household environment

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Private Chef, Household Chef, or VIP Family Cook
• Strong knowledge of international cuisines and healthy meal preparation
• Ability to prepare both everyday meals and fine dining presentations
• Good understanding of food hygiene and kitchen safety standards
• Flexible, organized, and able to work in a private household setting
• Professional attitude with strong attention to detail
• Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality
• English communication skills required
• Culinary certification or formal training is an advantage

Preferred Candidate

• Female candidates are preferred due to the nature of the household environment
