Role Overview
Eurofins IT Solutions is hiring a Principal Software Engineer in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
The engineering team develops next-generation applications and Electronic Lab Notebook systems used by scientists, engineers, and technicians across international laboratories.
The role reports to an Engineering Manager.
Required Experience and Skills
- The role requires 7 to 10 years of experience developing end-to-end web applications with Microsoft-stack technologies.
- Strong knowledge of .NET, C#, ASP.NET, MVC, Web API, Angular 2 or above, JavaScript, TypeScript, jQuery, HTML5, and CSS3 is required.
- Good knowledge of Cosmos DB and Microsoft SQL Server or SQL is required.
- Experience with TFS, UI testing, and unit testing tools such as MSTest, Jasmine, Moq, NUnit, or Karma is required.
- The role requires understanding of object-oriented programming, SOLID principles, design patterns, and n-tier architectures.
- Candidates should know authentication and authorization and have experience with at least one SOA project.
- Experience with Agile methodology is required, preferably Scrum.
- Very good English communication, structured writing, problem-solving ability, attention to detail, flexibility, and teamwork are expected.
Role Responsibilities
- Provide technical recommendations and solve technical problems.
- Conduct code reviews, resolve review comments, and close completed reviews.
- Apply programming best practices and troubleshoot performance-related issues.
- Write efficient code and database queries and use SQL Profiler when investigating performance.
- Support performance tuning and optimization with Microsoft technologies.
- Work within Agile development practices and contribute to laboratory application projects.
