Principal Software Engineer role based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
The role supports Eurofins Quality Management System, a web application for quality and compliance processes.
The position reports to an Engineering Manager and uses a hybrid schedule with three days working from the office.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement end-to-end web applications using the Microsoft technology stack.
- Integrate browser-based applications with existing services and understand business requirements with global stakeholders.
- Own deliverable quality, code quality, unit-test coverage, and technical documentation.
- Build, mentor, and technically coach a team of developers.
- Apply suitable architectures, design patterns, SOLID principles, authentication, authorization, and testing practices.
Required experience and skills
- 7–12 years of professional experience is required.
- Experience with .NET, .NET Core 5/6/7, C#, ASP.NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, WebAPI, and Angular 7 or above.
- Strong expertise in n-tier architecture, object-oriented design, design patterns, and intuitive module and class interfaces.
- Working knowledge of Cosmos DB, Elasticsearch, Azure Functions, Azure Monitor, Azure DevOps, CI/CD, event-driven architecture, domain-driven architecture, and microservices.
- Experience with UI and unit testing using tools such as MSTest, Jasmine, Moq, NUnit, or Karma.
- Experience working in Agile, preferably Scrum, and knowledge of authentication and authorization technologies.
- MCA, bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science, or equivalent is required.

- Very good English communication, concise writing, and structured technical writing skills.
