Team and role

Platform engineering

• Build reusable Generative AI platform services, pipelines, and APIs for multiple teams.
• Develop and operate production-grade AI agents using agentic patterns.
• Set technical direction for agent evaluation, operations, security, and governance.

Architecture and technical leadership

• Architect model-routing and LLM gateway platforms while balancing reliability, latency, quality, and inference cost.
• Evaluate open-weight model deployment, fine-tuning, and inference strategies.
• Mentor engineers and establish practices that improve reliability, productivity, security, and business agility.

Minimum qualifications

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong experience building scalable backend or platform systems in high-traffic distributed environments.
• Recent hands-on experience with production-grade Generative AI or AI-agent systems.
• Proficiency in Python and at least one additional production language such as Java or Kotlin.
• Experience with cloud-native distributed systems, microservices, APIs, data pipelines, and low-latency architecture.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, databases, caching, and architectural design patterns.
• Ability to set technical direction, communicate clearly, and influence globally distributed teams.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with MLOps, fine-tuning, inference systems, or open-weight model deployment.
• Experience with agent evaluation, operations, security, or governance.
• Experience building reusable GenAI pipelines, model-routing systems, or LLM gateways.
• Experience applying FinOps to model routing, inference optimization, or AI platform costs.
• Experience mentoring engineers and supporting continuous learning.

Workplace and location

• The role is based in Gurgaon.
• Regular in-person collaboration with the engineering team is required.
