Principal Financial Analyst - Personal Systems Global Supply Chain

Role summary

Responsibilities

• Lead and advise on critical business initiatives and oversee analysts across finance sub-functions and geographies.
• Support capital strategies focused on operational execution and company return on investment.
• Perform complex financial analysis and collaborate with leaders on long-term strategic decisions.
• Drive global process improvements and policy development.
• Advise on controls, budgeting, planning, return-on-investment decisions, business plans, and strategies.
• Represent the business unit in cross-regional or cross-functional planning.
• Develop solutions to complex problems and may lead large cross-functional teams or projects.
• Set functional strategy and policy as a functional manager; mentor lower-level employees.

Education and experience

• Recommended: four-year or graduate degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related discipline, or commensurate experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically 10+ years of experience, preferably in financial management, internal audit, accounting, or a related field.

Knowledge and skills

• Relevant knowledge areas include accounting, auditing, automation, corporate finance, data analysis, economics, financial analysis, modeling, and planning.
• Additional areas include financial statements, GAAP, internal controls, investments, KPIs, process improvement, P&L management, SAP Applications, and variance analysis.
• Cross-organizational skills include communication, results orientation, learning agility, digital fluency, and customer centricity.

Preferred certifications and role scope

• CPA and CFA certifications are preferred.
• Impacts large functions and leads large cross-division teams or projects; provides innovative solutions to complex problems within established policy.
