Presales Solutions Architect

Role purpose

Responsibilities

• Translate client business and technical needs into compelling solutions and provide technology and domain leadership throughout the solution lifecycle.
• Create architecture blueprints and work with stakeholders, partners, and vendors on use cases, solutions, and service strategies.
• Recommend products and services aligned with business goals and technical requirements.
• Prepare proposals, RFP responses, and commercial offers with product, delivery, and finance teams.
• Present and demonstrate solutions to clients and lead workshops, articulating the company’s value proposition.
• Develop solution cost and pricing models based on competition and client budgets.
• Provide integration plans and architectural oversight during implementation.
• Embed security, compliance, and business continuity practices in solutions.
• Research emerging technologies and competitors; transfer knowledge to delivery teams and participate in project reviews.
• Collaborate with partners and vendors to develop industry-specific solutions and go-to-market strategies.

Experience and qualifications

• Experience architecting large-scale analytics, AI, and big data solutions.
• Strong solution architecture and technical leadership background.
• Experience in proposal writing, solution costing, and commercial modelling.
• Knowledge of integration with enterprise platforms.
• Understanding of security, governance, and compliance in government or defense environments.
• Familiarity with cloud-native architectures.
• Strong client-facing presentation and storytelling skills for CXO-level engagements.
• Project and time management abilities; strategic and analytical thinking; ability to balance technical and commercial considerations.
• Ability to collaborate with partners and vendors to shape offerings.
