Presales Architect - Defense

Role overview

Presales and proposals

• Support customer discovery and develop high-level solutions for secure, on-premises, and air-gapped environments.
• Prepare architecture diagrams, defense RFP and tender responses, estimates, scope definitions, and solution sizing.
• Develop proposal content and coordinate preparation with capability, delivery, and commercial teams.
• Maintain reusable proposal templates and solution assets and ensure customer-facing document quality.

Technical engagement and delivery

• Present solution concepts and demonstrations in English and Arabic, and deliver proofs of concept to validate customer fit.
• Discuss AI, data platforms, analytics, and defense use cases; coordinate with technology partners on product and licensing inputs.
• Support practical solution design for restricted environments, delivery handover, and project initiation documentation.

Capability development

• Follow developments in AI, Generative AI, data engineering, and defense technology.
• Contribute to solution accelerators, reusable architectures, best practices, technical workshops, partner enablement, and innovation initiatives.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related discipline.
• Approximately 4–8 years of experience in presales, solution engineering, data, or AI roles.
• Familiarity with defense IT engagements and understanding of defense security, data classification, and data management.
• Working knowledge of on-premises, private or sovereign cloud, and Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Familiarity with Big Data, data warehousing, ETL/ELT, data lakes, enterprise analytics, Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, and AI agent architecture.
• Experience with technical proposals, customer-facing solution documents, enterprise integration, APIs, and modern software architecture.
• Strong communication, presentation, senior stakeholder engagement, and hands-on POC and demonstration experience.
• Arabic proficiency is strongly preferred; cloud, Databricks, AI, or security certifications are advantageous.
