Role overview

The Presales Lead supports revenue growth in Cloud Managed Services by developing tailored solution architectures for enterprise and mid-size clients.

The role builds strategic relationships with IT decision-makers and collaborates with sales and delivery teams.

The stated location is Riyadh, KSA.

Main responsibilities

  • Gather and capture business requirements with customers and the sales team.
  • Analyze customers’ current and target infrastructure, application, and security requirements on cloud.
  • Translate RFP/RFI documents into business requirements and technical responses.
  • Design optimized solutions using Azure, AWS, or GCP based on customer specifications.
  • Conduct customer presentations and whiteboarding sessions to showcase company capabilities.
  • Develop proof-of-concept solutions and comprehensive cloud migration plans.
  • Participate in public events and produce technical content such as whitepapers, articles, and blogs.
  • Deliver internal training and assist delivery teams with knowledge transition.

Key requirements

  • Proven experience with at least one of Azure, AWS, or GCP is mandatory.
  • Requires 7–15 years of IT/datacenter experience, including at least 5 years focused on cloud infrastructure or applications as an SME or architect.
  • Requires a relevant cloud technology certification at Expert or Associate level.
  • Requires expertise architecting complex enterprise-grade solutions for on-premise and cloud environments.
  • Requires experience with either IaaS cloud infrastructure solutions or cloud applications, including PaaS, serverless, containers, or CI/CD.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of cloud security principles and experience with Windows/Linux operating systems and Active Directory integration.
  • Experience designing high availability and disaster recovery architectures.
  • Familiarity with Terraform, Ansible, or ARM Templates.
  • Strong client-facing skills, ability to influence outcomes, and capability to design for scalability, reliability, security, and performance.
  • Collaborative approach to working with project teams.
  • Willingness to travel locally and globally, approximately 30–40% as required.
