Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Monitor system and component health and availability; troubleshoot servers and applications in Linux and Microsoft environments.
• Perform routine, urgent, and critical patch deployment; maintain security updates and submit monthly reports.
• Support MSS IT infrastructure and manage policy, configuration, and system optimization.
• Develop and document internal IT infrastructure; complete recurring operational tasks and reporting.
• Manage virtualization environments and backup solutions.
• Build and manage public-cloud infrastructure in Azure and OCI.
• Automate operational upkeep and provisioning of customers and services across cloud and on-premises environments.
• Integrate and administer Linux and Windows platforms and cybersecurity technologies in an agile environment.
• Support platform testing, integration, deployment, onboarding, installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and remediation.
• Build a cybersecurity services platform.

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information security or an IT-related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of experience with IT infrastructure and servers.
• Relevant certifications in infrastructure technologies.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft domains and Active Directory and strong Linux administration skills.
• Experience managing network security technologies such as firewalls and WAF, and virtualization environments such as VMware.
• Excellent documentation and diagramming skills.
• Fluent English; Arabic is described as advantageous in one section and required in another.

Preferred experience

• Experience with specific cybersecurity technologies is a plus.
• Familiarity with cloud service management tools is a plus.
• Knowledge of agile project management methodologies is a plus.
