Position Overview
The role focuses on providing design expertise to ensure finance data models, profitability views, and product structures align with SAP S/4HANA for downstream transaction recording and analysis.
Candidates should have extensive experience in SAP FI/CO and a strong Oil & Gas sector background.
Main Responsibilities
- Review existing finance structures and recommend ideal organizational and reporting frameworks.
- Define reporting dimensions captured in the Universal Journal and Margin Analysis.
- Advise on posting logic, allocation principles, and product valuation for downstream operations.
- Establish system roles, architecture, and finance data flows across ERP, EPM, and reporting layers.
- Identify integration readiness gaps and technology dependencies for the implementation roadmap.
Key Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in SAP FI/CO with an Oil & Gas focus.
- Demonstrated experience in multiple full-lifecycle SAP S/4HANA Finance implementations.
- Design experience with SAP S/4HANA specific to Oil & Gas.
- Ability to contextualize and translate complex business requirements into finance data models.
- Hands-on experience in various downstream Oil & Gas contexts such as refining and trading.
Nice to Have
- Experience with multi-ERP landscapes and data harmonization initiatives.
- Knowledge of ESG and non-financial data in finance reporting.
- Familiarity with AI/ML applications within finance.

- This is a 3-month contract position.
- The role demands an on-site presence in Dhahran, KSA.
- The role aligns with Senior Manager or Director level responsibilities.
