Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand client needs and develop tailored IT and ELV solutions.
- Conduct technical assessments, feasibility studies, and site surveys.
- Design end-to-end solution architectures covering networking, security, ELV systems, telephone systems, and data center infrastructure.
- Prepare detailed technical proposals, system diagrams, cost estimates, and presentations for clients.
- Conduct product demonstrations, proof-of-concept (POC) sessions, and workshops for clients.
- Respond to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), and technical inquiries.
- Advise clients on technology trends, best practices, and scalable solutions.
- Coordinate with vendors and partners to evaluate products, negotiate technical terms, and source solutions.
- Support the sales team in identifying opportunities for value-added solutions and cross-selling services.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, solution templates, and knowledge base for internal use.
- Collaborate with project delivery teams to ensure proposed solutions are implementable and meet client requirements.
- Provide ongoing technical guidance during project implementation, including installation, configuration, and integration.
- Assist in risk assessment and mitigation for proposed solutions.
- Evaluate competitor solutions and provide input for strategic positioning.
- Participate in client meetings, technical discussions, and workshops to build credibility and trust.
- Continuously improve presales processes, workflows, and technical capabilities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electronics, or related field.
- Proven experience in a presales or technical solutions role within IT and ELV domains.
- Strong understanding of networking, cybersecurity, ELV systems, telephone solutions, and data center infrastructure.
- Ability to create high-level and detailed technical designs and presentations.
- Knowledge of Qatar regulatory standards and industry best practices is a plus.
Preferred Certifications:
- Cisco (CCNA/CCNP)
- CompTIA Network+ / Security+
- Microsoft Certifications (Azure, M365, etc.)
- ELV / Structured Cabling / IP Telephony certifications
Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent technical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with sales and engineering teams
- Customer-focused with the ability to translate technical solutions into business value
