Role overview
Supports the Sales team by preparing quotations and pricing for IT products and solutions based on customer requirements.
Works closely with Sales to provide commercially competitive proposals and support the sales process.
Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate, competitive quotations and provide pricing for requested products and solutions.
- Find suitable suppliers when required products are not available through existing partners; source products and obtain competitive pricing.
- Benchmark supplier prices against market and competitor prices before applying the required margin.
- Support commercial offers and proposals; research suitable product and supplier options for customer needs.
- Coordinate with suppliers and partners to obtain product information and pricing.
- Maintain accurate quotation information and organized supplier and pricing records.
- Provide Sales with information throughout the quotation process and identify alternative products or suppliers when needed.
- Stay current on IT products, suppliers, and market pricing.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in Pre-Sales, IT Sales Support, IT Procurement, or IT Supplies.
- Experience in the IT or technology sector and with IT products, solutions, and technology supplies.
- Strong knowledge of pricing and quotation preparation; ability to source products and compare supplier, market, and competitor prices.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and English communication skills.
- Good reporting and analytical skills; ability to learn new products and technology solutions quickly.
- Experience with AI or AI Agents is advantageous.
