Job Summary**

As a Pre-Sales Engineer – Cloud & Cybersecurity, you will play a key role in supporting business growth by engaging with customers, understanding their business and technology requirements, and helping position the organization's cloud, cybersecurity, and managed service offerings.

Acting as a bridge between customers, sales teams, technology partners, and internal technical specialists, you will ensure customer requirements are accurately captured and translated into appropriate solution proposals.

In this role, you will support customer engagements, facilitate discovery sessions, coordinate solution development with technical subject matter experts, prepare proposals and tender responses, and deliver presentations that clearly communicate business value.

While a good understanding of cloud and cybersecurity technologies is essential, you will work closely with technical teams and solution architects for detailed solution design and technical validation.

Key Responsibilities

1.

Engage with customers to understand business objectives, challenges, and technology requirements, and identify opportunities to position the company's solutions and services.

2.

Support sales and business development teams throughout the sales lifecycle by participating in customer meetings, presentations, and solution discussions.

3.

Coordinate with internal technical teams, solution architects, and technology partners to develop solutions that meet customer requirements.

4.

Facilitate discovery sessions, workshops, and requirements-gathering activities to document customer needs and project scope.

5.

Prepare and coordinate technical and commercial proposals, Statements of Work (SOW), Bills of Materials (BOM), and responses to RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs.

6.

Deliver customer presentations, solution overviews, and business-focused demonstrations in collaboration with technical specialists and vendor partners.

7.

Support solution pricing, licensing discussions, effort estimation, and tender submissions while ensuring alignment with customer requirements.

8.

Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and technology partners to support business growth and successful opportunity management.

9.

Contribute to the development of sales collateral, service offerings, proposal templates, and pre-sales best practices.

10.

Stay informed about cloud, cybersecurity, and technology market trends to effectively communicate solution capabilities and business benefits.

Required Qualifications

· Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, Business Information Systems, or a related discipline.

· 4–10+ years of experience in Pre-Sales, IT Solutions, Account Management, Business Development, IT Infrastructure, Cloud, or Cybersecurity-related roles within Qatar or the GCC.

· Experience supporting customer engagements, solution proposals, and enterprise technology sales opportunities.

· Experience participating in tenders, RFPs, RFQs, and large-scale technology projects.

· Strong understanding of cloud, cybersecurity, managed services, and enterprise IT solutions.

· Experience working with enterprise, government, healthcare, financial services, or large commercial customers is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

· Microsoft Azure Certifications (Administrator, Security Engineer, Solutions Architect).

· AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect, Security Specialty).

· Google Cloud Certifications.

· CISSP, CISM, CEH, Security+, or equivalent cybersecurity certifications.

· Vendor certifications from Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco, Check Point, CrowdStrike, or similar technology vendors.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong customer engagement and relationship-building capabilities.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into solution recommendations.
  • Strong proposal writing, documentation, and tender management skills.
