Job Purpose

The role holder is responsible for supporting pre-sales and bidding activities within the Business-Critical segment, including assisting in solution design, proposal preparation, and bid coordination.

The role focuses on analyzing customer requirements, supporting the development of technical and commercial proposals, and coordinating with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate bid submissions in alignment with Specialized’s business objectives and approved procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the identification and qualification of new business opportunities with enterprise and government clients.
  • Develop basic understanding of ICT solutions (infrastructure, IT, and digital services) to support addressing customer requirements.
  • Assist in analyzing RFPs/RFQs and gathering requirements to support defining appropriate solution approaches.
  • Support the preparation of proposals, presentations, and solution documents aligned with customer needs.
  • Assist in developing technical and commercial proposals, including supporting documentation such as specifications and BoQs.
  • Provide required inputs to bids in coordination with Business Operations and relevant stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with Technology, Sales, and Product teams to support feasibility checks and alignment of proposed solutions.
  • Support identification of potential risks in the presales and bidding process and escalate where necessary.
  • Assist in evaluating bid opportunities and gathering inputs for go/no-go decisions.
  • Support the development and maintenance of bidding templates, documents, and proposal frameworks.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders (Sales, Customer Care, Technology, Legal, Regulatory) to collect required inputs for proposals.
  • Assist in vendor evaluation activities by gathering data and coordinating with relevant teams.
  • Track proposal timelines and follow up with stakeholders to ensure timely submission.
  • Maintain and update bid documentation and repositories to ensure data accuracy and accessibility.
  • Support analysis of win/loss outcomes and prepare basic reports to highlight improvement areas.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to support development of end-to-end solutions for customer requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor in Business Administration specialized in Sales (preferred), Engineering or any related field.

Years Of Experience

  • Preferred experience of (+6) years, or equivalent in the area of expertise.
