Pool Attendant/Concierge

Position summary

Guest and recreation duties

• Provide guests with information about recreation facilities and activities.
• Encourage, register, and schedule guests for recreation activities.
• Promote a fun and relaxing guest atmosphere.
• Promote safety rules and regulations for recreation facilities.
• Observe facility activity and respond to emergencies under local operating procedures.
• Assist private functions with group activities and events.
• Identify unsafe guest participation situations and notify a supervisor or manager.
• Assist injured guests until emergency medical services arrive.
• Provide cashier services and process payments for rentals, activities, facility rentals, and retail sales.
• Clean and maintain recreation facilities, equipment, and supplies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
• No related work experience is required.
• No supervisory experience is required.
• CPR certification is required.
• First Aid certification is required.
• Recreation equipment certification or training is required.
• Any certification or training required by local and state agencies is required.

Operational expectations

• Follow company policies, safety training, quality standards, and professional appearance requirements.
• Welcome guests, anticipate service needs, and communicate clearly and professionally.
• Use computers or point-of-sale systems to enter and locate work-related information.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift, carry, and move through varied physical spaces during shifts.

Workplace and schedule

• Location is Shura Island, Red Sea, Saudi Arabia.
• The role is full time.
• The position is not located remotely.
