Your role
- Develop and optimize the Master Project Schedule using Primavera P6, integrating project components with scope, resources, and timelines.
- Review contractor baseline schedules for sequencing, resource loading, and contract alignment; prepare recommendations for approval or revision.
- Monitor progress and schedule variances, identify deviations, and propose corrective actions.
- Forecast completion dates and prepare mitigation and recovery plans for delayed or at-risk activities.
- Lead schedule risk assessments, what-if analyses, impact evaluations, and delay analyses supporting EOT claims and contractual decisions.
- Prepare progress dashboards, KPIs, and executive reports on schedule status, risks, and trends.
- Coordinate with project managers, discipline engineers, consultants, and contractors to validate progress data and resolve schedule conflicts.
- Ensure compliance with contractual and industry-standard planning requirements; FIDIC familiarity is preferred.
- Lead, mentor, and supervise the planning team, including junior planning engineers and schedulers.
About you
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum 15 years of professional planning experience, with exposure managing major infrastructure projects; the visible text references roads, bridges, and highways.
- Familiarity with FIDIC-based contracts is preferred.
