Planning Engineer
Role Objective: To assist in the maintenance of the jobs’ construction schedules, resource requirements in coordination with the relevant departments across the Company. OPERATIONAL 1) Studies contract documents specially clauses related to schedule updates, notifications and milestones.

To assist in the maintenance of the jobs’ construction schedules, resource requirements in coordination with the relevant departments across the Company.
Operational
1) Studies contract documents specially clauses related to schedule updates, notifications and milestones.
2) Participates in the development of Tender and Baseline schedules.
3) Acquires the following activity information from COC/QS:
Quantities.
BOQ Amount.
Cost.
Resources.
4) Monitors and Aggregates the productivity data from the construction daily reports, site rounds and time sheets.
Reports irregularities to the project team.
5) Visits sites regularly to monitor the actual progress of work done.
6) Effectively communicates with the project team.
7) Assists in preparing the weekly and monthly reports and participates in the submittals’ updates and subcontractors’ progresses updates.
8) Updates the micro schedule using actual quantities and actual progress on daily basis.
9) Assists in updating the Actual progress in Amanatech (if required).
10) Assists in Extension of Time claim preparation.
11) Contributes to the Planning section of the Job Closeout Report.
Education
al Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Architect, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical) or Bachelor of Science in Quantity Surveying.
Experience
Minimum of 2 years’ experience.
Behavioral Skills

Technical Skills
PRIMAVERA Project Planner (Ver 3.1 & 6.0), MS Project, computer skills and communications skills in English language (read, write and speak).
