We are seeking a
Planning Engineer
to develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules while supporting project teams through effective programme management, progress reporting, and project controls.
Your Role
- Develop, maintain, and update project schedules using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
- Prepare baseline programmes, Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), and resource-loaded schedules.
- Monitor project progress and analyse schedule performance against approved baselines.
- Identify critical path activities, delays, and programme risks.
- Support the preparation of Extension of Time (EOT) submissions and delay analyses.
- Monitor procurement and material delivery schedules to ensure alignment with project milestones.
- Participate in progress review meetings and communicate programme status to project stakeholders.
- Maintain planning records, programme revisions, assumptions, and schedule documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum
- 5+ years
- of planning experience within the construction industry.
- Strong working knowledge of Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Excel.
- Good understanding of project scheduling principles, critical path analysis, and project controls.
- Experience supporting delay analysis and Extension of Time (EOT) submissions.
- Power BI and PowerPoint experience is advantageous.
- Strong communication, analytical, and organisational skills.
