Responsibilities
- Provides support in the development and implementation of Freight operational planning policies and procedures in line with the organization's objectives.
- Coordinates with respective teams/departments to plan Freight operations, including capacity planning.
- Evaluates the operating procedures and identifies areas of improvement to recommend measures for enhancing operational efficiency.
- Provides necessary input into technical aspects of planning such as maintenance plans, network set up, etc.
- Manages daily operations to ensure the operations are carried out as per the developed standards, policies, and procedures.
- Conducts rostering for on-boarding staff and coordinates schedules of freight functions.
- Keeps track of regulatory requirements on matters related to operations and ensures compliance with them.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering.
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
