Responsibilities
- Align asset management initiatives with departmental and organizational objectives.
- Monitor and evaluate the quality and timeliness of maintenance work performed by the maintenance team.
- Conduct regular inspections and diagnostics to identify maintenance needs and potential issues.
- Continuously analyze rolling stock performance data to identify opportunities for improvement in asset efficiency, reliability, and safety.
- Recommend and implement enhancements, modifications, or upgrades to optimize asset performance.
- Ensure that all rolling stock assets comply with industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental requirements.
- Oversee and provide guidance to projects pertaining to asset handover, maintenance readiness and integration requirements for handover of new or altered rolling stock assets.
- Support outgoing fleet de/commissioning activities and establish optimum set de/commissioning sequencing with consideration to asset condition, performance, and maintenance demand.
- Responsible for the maintenance plans, management of critical complex failures, monitoring of modifications and maintenance records management.
- Manage the master maintenance data related to existing, new, and disposed assets to optimize data integrity and reduce any associated business risks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
