Role overview
Experienced Planning Engineer sought for construction work in Qatar, specializing in high-rise buildings and tower projects.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6.
- Monitor progress against approved baseline schedules.
- Prepare progress reports, look-ahead schedules, and recovery plans.
- Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, subcontractors, and consultants.
- Analyze delays and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare progress updates, manpower plans, and resource forecasts.
- Support Extension of Time claims and delay analysis.
- Help ensure milestones are achieved within approved timelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of construction project planning experience; high-rise or tower experience preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project.
- Experience in scheduling, progress monitoring, and delay analysis.
- Knowledge of construction methodologies and project controls.
- Previous Qatar experience is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical, reporting, and coordination skills.
