Responsibilities

• Prepare and handcraft a diverse selection of kosher pizzas using fresh, kosher-certified ingredients.
• Adhere to kosher dietary laws and guidelines throughout the pizza-making process.
• Ensure consistent pizza quality and taste, while meeting customer expectations and dietary requirements.
• Oversee pizza dough preparation, ensuring its compliance with kosher standards.
• Manage and organize the pizza station efficiently during peak hours.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain inventory, order kosher pizza supplies, and manage stock levels.
• Ensure cleanliness and adherence to kosher food preparation practices in the pizza preparation area.
• Train and guide kitchen staff on kosher pizza preparation techniques and adherence to kosher guidelines.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Pizza Maker with a specialization in kosher cuisine in a reputable restaurant or kosher establishment.
• Extensive knowledge of kosher dietary laws and their application to pizza-making.
• Skillful in hand-tossing and shaping pizza dough to perfection.
• Creative mindset to develop unique kosher pizza combinations and toppings.
• Familiarity with kosher certification and the ability to source and identify kosher ingredients.
• Strong organizational skills to manage pizza stations efficiently and maintain inventory.
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to maintaining the highest kosher food preparation standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and efficiently handle multiple pizza orders.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Formal culinary training and certification from a recognized institution.
• Extensive experience working in kosher kitchens or restaurants.
• Familiarity with Jewish culinary traditions and kosher customs.

Position Details & Schedule

• Prior experience as a Pizza Maker is preferred.
• Working Hours are from 10 AM – 7 PM; Saturday nights from when sabbath ends until store closing.
