Experienced Ping Identity IAM Consultant responsible for managing, implementing, and optimizing enterprise identity and access management solutions.
The role focuses on secure, seamless, and compliant access through authentication and authorization.
Identity management and authentication
- Administer identity management and user lifecycle changes, and maintain visibility into governance and access.
- Ensure IAM solution availability, scalability, and performance.
- Implement enterprise SSO; design MFA and passwordless authentication; configure adaptive policies based on risk and user behavior.
Governance, compliance, and automation
- Enforce RBAC, ABAC, and least-privilege principles; manage access certifications, reviews, and approvals.
- Analyze authentication and access logs, reports, and audit trails; support compliance audits and investigate identity-related security incidents.
- Design authentication workflows using no-code or low-code orchestration and automate identity processes.
Core technologies
- PingOne, PingFederate, PingID, PingAccess, PingDirectory, and PingOne DaVinci.
- SSO protocols: SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect; MFA, passwordless authentication, and adaptive authentication.
Required experience and skills
- 5–8 years of IAM experience and strong hands-on experience with the Ping Identity suite.
- Expertise in SSO protocols, experience implementing MFA and passwordless authentication, and understanding of adaptive or risk-based authentication.
- Familiarity with LDAP or Active Directory; experience with RBAC or ABAC; knowledge of security best practices and IAM frameworks.
Preferred qualifications
- Relevant IAM or Ping Identity certifications.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP; knowledge of API security or Zero Trust; exposure to DevOps and automation tools.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, communication, and stakeholder management; able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Outcomes include secure user authentication, stronger governance and compliance, efficient identity lifecycle management, and reduced security risk.
