The Advanced Biotechnology Center seeks an experienced, independent Lab Technician for a fast-paced R&D team focused on research and applied science.
The stated location is Dubai, UAE, and the role is in person.
Responsibilities
- Collect, receive, label, and analyze samples or substances using appropriate testing equipment when needed.
- Design and conduct laboratory testing according to standard procedures, record observations, and interpret findings.
- Accurately record experimental data and test results in the required written or electronic format.
- Organize and store chemicals, fluids, and compressed gases according to safety instructions, and follow laboratory safety guidelines.
- Maintain daily logs and equipment record books; clean, sterilize, maintain, and calibrate laboratory equipment.
- Order laboratory supplies, provide technical support when necessary, and keep up to date with scientific and technical developments.
Minimum qualifications
- Mandatory: bachelor's degree in Biology or a related field.
- Mandatory: three years of related laboratory experience.
- Mandatory: proven technical knowledge and laboratory experience.
Schedule and job details
- Full-time position with a weekday schedule of 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and weekends on a rota.
- Starting salary is commensurate with experience; no pay cadence or amount is specified.
