Role overview
The Advanced Biotechnology Center seeks an experienced, energetic, independent lab technician interested in research and applied science.
The technician will work in a fast-paced R&D team.
Classified title: Microbiology and Genetic Lab Technician.
Laboratory work
- Run paternity tests.
- Design primers and set up PCR.
- Carry out genetic routines such as DNA/RNA extraction and PCR.
- Perform electrophoresis.
Minimum qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Biology or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Three years of related laboratory experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Proven technical knowledge and laboratory experience are preferred but not mandatory.
Schedule
- Weekdays, 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m., with weekends on a rota.
Location and work arrangement
- Location: Dubai, UAE.
- Work location is in person.
