Role overview

Pharmacy and customer care

• Review and interpret physician orders, process prescriptions, dispense medication, and advise on dosage, storage, side effects, and drug interactions.
• Teach customers safe use of home medical equipment, such as glucose meters.
• Advise on over-the-counter medicines for common illnesses and recommend seeing a physician when appropriate.
• Maintain pharmacological knowledge through workshops, professional publications, networks, and professional societies.

Store management and operations

• Monitor staff and store readiness, including uniforms, name tags, temperature, and storage conditions; follow store procedures.
• Supervise and develop staff through performance monitoring, corrective actions, coaching, and training.
• Monitor sales targets and customer satisfaction; process payments and reconciliations and coordinate with Finance.
• Manage schedules, attendance, stock orders and returns, inventory, expenses, price updates, and promotions.
• Identify appropriate upsell and cross-sell opportunities to meet customer needs and targets.
• Monitor compliance with health and safety policies, procedures, and other operational standards.

Education and experience

• BSc in Pharmacy, required by law.
• 1–3 years of experience.

Computer skills and languages

• MS Office Suite.
• English is mandatory.
• Arabic is mandatory.

Work schedule

• Six working days per week, with one day off.
• Working hours are 8:00 AM–6:00 PM, including a one-hour break.

Work environment

• Work environment is indoors 100% and outdoors 0%.
