Key responsibilities
- Inspect residential, commercial, industrial, and other Facilities Management sites for pests.
- Identify pests and infestation sources, assess conditions, select treatments, and recommend corrective and preventive measures.
- Develop and implement Integrated Pest Management (IPM) programs.
- Apply pesticides, chemicals, gels, baits, traps, and other treatments under approved procedures and safety requirements.
- Operate spraying, fogging/misting, gel, injection, and related equipment.
- Conduct weekly and monthly inspections and monitor treatment effectiveness.
- Prepare service reports, inspection reports, treatment records, and other documentation.
- Maintain chemical, equipment, tool, treatment, and service records; check equipment, tools, and chemical stocks.
- Ensure correct handling, storage, mixing, and application of pest control chemicals.
- Train, guide, and supervise technicians; monitor team work quality and quantity.
- Conduct toolbox meetings and safety briefings for pest control personnel.
- Explain findings and treatments to clients; assist with proposals, quotations, and treatment plans when required.
Key qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, Agriculture, or another relevant scientific field.
- At least 8–10 years of relevant pest control experience, including substantial Facilities Management experience.
- At least 5 years of Qatar or GCC experience is preferred.
- IPM or Public Health Pest Control certification or training is highly preferred.
- A valid Qatar driving licence is preferred.
