Personal Support Worker

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, meal preparation, and medication reminders.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive and respectful environment.
• Monitor and report changes in clients’ health status and communicate any concerns to the healthcare team or family members.
• Ensure clients’ homes are kept clean and safe, assisting with light housekeeping as needed.
• Adhere to care plans and maintain accurate documentation of services provided.
• Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Personal Support Worker or in a similar caregiving role is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable transportation to travel to client locations in Lake Orion, MI.
• Ability to pass background checks and comply with all health and safety standards.
