Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Develop Integration Broker scenarios, REST/SOAP integrations, transformations, service security, and robust error-handling and retry workflows.
• Develop Component Interfaces and File Layouts for hybrid integration scenarios.
• Migrate legacy integrations to standardized patterns using phased cutovers and backward-compatibility measures where needed.
• Optimize high-volume integrations and connect PeopleSoft with cloud applications and middleware.
• Maintain technical documentation, diagrams, configuration references, runbooks, and operating procedures.
• Provide post-go-live support, incident response, and root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with functional consultants and integration architects on requirements and technical approach.
• Mentor and coach engineers through code and design reviews, pair programming, and knowledge sharing.

Required qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Five or more years of PeopleSoft development experience focused on Integration Broker.
• Hands-on PeopleSoft REST and SOAP web services development.
• Solid PeopleCode and Application Engine experience.
• Working knowledge of XML, XSLT, and JSON.
• Experience with WS-Security and OAuth2.
• Strong SQL skills and PeopleSoft data model experience.
• Troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
• Experience supporting PeopleSoft upgrades and patches.

Preferred qualifications

• Familiarity with OIC, MuleSoft, or Boomi is a strong plus.
• PeopleSoft certifications.
• Experience integrating with Oracle Cloud Applications.

Position details and compensation

• Full-time, direct W2 position.
• Salary range is $100,000–$150,000 annually.
• The role details state six or more years of experience; required qualifications specify five or more years of PeopleSoft development experience.
