People Operations HR Associate

About This Role

Job Description As Lalamove continues to grow, we’re looking for a People Operations Associate to join our team in Dubai, UAE . This is a hands-on role supporting the day-to-day People and office operations as we scale the business.

You’ll support day-to-day People and admin work, keep HR processes running smoothly, support employees across their lifecycle, bring structure to a fast-moving environment, and work alongside the People Manager to deliver a great employee experience.

This role is ideal for someone excited to be part of a hypergrowth, technology-driven start up , who leads with integrity, and is motivated by making a meaningful impact on local communities . If you’re organized, hands-on, and enjoy building as you go, this role is a great fit for you.

What Youll Do

• Maintain accurate HR records, systems, policies, and user guides.
• Prepare employment-related letters and documentation.
• Support the recruitment process, edit and post job descriptions across all hiring channels.
• Support onboarding, offboarding, and immigration processes.
• Coordinate company and ad hoc events.
• Support general office administration, including HR/People related vendor payments, supplies, and office maintenance.

What We Seek

• 1–2 years HR/admin experience in the UAE
• Familiarity with UAE labour laws, HR processes, payroll, and vendor coordination
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to maintain confidentiality
• Proactive and able to prioritize tasks, work independently, and manage time effectively
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Associate/Degree in Business Administration, HR, or any related field
• Hospitality, start up or high-growth experience is a plus
• Proficient in Google Workspace is a plus
