Role overview
Specialist, hands-on beer educator role focused on raising product knowledge and serving standards across the UAE on-trade.
Train bartenders, hospitality teams, and internal colleagues, working with Sales and Marketing to support brand advocacy, visibility, and sales growth.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver face-to-face and online training on beer styles, ingredients, brewing, production, brand heritage, storage, and quality.
- Train teams on draught and packaged beer handling, equipment, glassware, temperature, pouring, and perfect-serve standards.
- Create and adapt training programmes, masterclasses, and materials for different audiences and experience levels.
- Represent priority beer brands at tastings, demonstrations, and presentations; support activations, events, and competitions.
- Build relationships with hospitality customers and internal stakeholders; visit outlets to assess standards, reinforce learning, and identify improvement opportunities.
- Support internal colleagues and brand ambassadors, and maintain records of training, visits, feedback, and performance measures.
Candidate requirements
- Demonstrable experience as a dedicated beer trainer, educator, ambassador, or in a closely related specialist beer role.
- Strong technical knowledge of beer, brewing and production, product quality, and serving standards.
- Experience designing and delivering training to hospitality or on-trade audiences; confidence presenting to groups and adapting to multicultural teams.
- Excellent communication, organisation, relationship-building skills, and a commercial outlook.
- Fluent written and spoken English; beer, brewing, or beverage qualifications are beneficial.
- General spirits or wine training alone is insufficient. Brand-owner candidates may be considered if they meet the specialist beer requirements; distributor backgrounds are unsuitable.
Location and relocation
- The successful candidate must be based in Dubai, UAE. Candidates currently outside the UAE may apply if willing to relocate.
- A relocation package is available.
