Key responsibilities

  • Deliver face-to-face and online training, masterclasses, and tastings for priority on-trade accounts.
  • Teach hospitality teams about brand heritage, ingredients, brewing processes, and storage.
  • Train customers on pouring, recommended serves, glassware, temperature, and equipment.
  • Develop training materials from beer fundamentals through advanced masterclasses.
  • Represent brands across hospitality and retail, including training retail and travel retail ambassador teams.
  • Support marketing activations, events, and trade-facing beer-pouring competitions.
  • Visit outlets to maintain quality and perfect-serve standards and support mystery customer assessments.
  • Work with sales teams to secure listings, improve menu placement, and increase distribution.
  • Report on training delivery, outlet visits, and performance against agreed KPIs.

Candidate requirements

  • 2–3 years’ experience in training, brand ambassadorship, beer education, or a hospitality-focused role.
  • Strong knowledge of beer, brewing, and serving standards.
  • Proven experience delivering training, presentations, masterclasses, or tastings.
  • On-trade, hospitality, or drinks-industry background is advantageous.
  • WSET, Cicerone, or Institute of Brewing & Distilling qualifications are beneficial.
  • Commercial awareness and ability to link training activity to distribution and sales growth.
  • Confident presenter able to build credibility with bar teams, customers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Organised and self-motivated, able to manage schedules, events, and multiple accounts independently.
  • Comfortable working in a multicultural environment.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
