Support the setup and initial operations of a new hospitality concept in Dubai as a Pastry Sous Chef and Consultant.

Contract Details
- Employment type: Contract / Consultancy.
- Contract duration: Three months, extendable based on project requirements.
- Monthly compensation: AED 10,000 all-inclusive.

- Location: Dubai, UAE.
- Work location: In person.

Key Responsibilities
- Set up and organize the pastry section and establish kitchen workflows and operating procedures.
- Plan production and develop pastry, bakery, dessert, and confectionery products and menus.
- Standardize recipes, portions, presentation, production procedures, costing, and waste reduction.
- Train and guide pastry team members and advise on staffing and team organization.
- Establish production schedules, storage, labeling, FIFO, hygiene, and food safety procedures.
- Recommend equipment, ingredients, and smallwares and support the Executive Chef during pre-opening.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Pastry Sous Chef, Pastry Chef, Pastry Consultant, or in a similar senior position.
- Strong pastry, bakery, dessert, and confectionery experience in hospitality operations.
- Knowledge of recipe development, costing, production planning, pastry operations, food safety, and HACCP.
- Experience training and supervising pastry teams, with strong leadership and communication skills.
- Pre-opening experience and UAE or GCC hospitality experience are preferred.
