The Pastry Demi Chef de Partie supports the Head Chef in maintaining high standards of food preparation, presentation, and quality.
The role is in a dynamic, fast-paced kitchen.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the Head Chef in developing recipes and maintaining consistency in food preparation and presentation.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff and uphold LPM quality standards.
- Monitor inventory and stock and assist with ingredient ordering.
- Maintain a clean, organized kitchen and follow food safety, hygiene, health, and safety standards.
- Contribute creative ideas for seasonal specials and menu development.
- Adapt to the demands of a fast-paced kitchen.
What you'll need
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef in fine dining or high-end restaurants.
- A culinary degree or equivalent certification is preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of Mediterranean cuisine and culinary techniques.
- Passion for food and creativity, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
